Candle Care & Safety
To enjoy your scented candles safely and maximize their life, please follow these
important guidelines:

Before Lighting
- Trim the Wick: Always trim the wick to about ¼ inch (6 mm) before each use to prevent excessive smoke and soot.
- Check the Surface: Place the candle on a heat-resistant, stable surface away from drafts, vents, and flammable objects.
- Remove Packaging: Ensure all decorative wraps or labels are removed before lighting.
While Burning
- Never Leave Unattended: Do not leave a burning candle unattended or near children and pets.
- Burn in Sight: Keep candles within your line of sight at all times.
- Avoid Moving: Do not move a candle while the wax is liquid or the flame is lit.
- Burn Time: Limit each burn session to 2–3 hours to maintain candle quality and prevent overheating.
- Distance Between Candles: Keep at least 3 inches (7 cm) between burning candles to avoid melting or uneven burning.
After Use
- Extinguish Safely: Use a candle snuffer or gently blow out the flame. Avoid splashing hot wax.
- Cool Before Handling: Let the wax cool completely before touching or relighting.
- Storage: Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve fragrance and color.
Additional Tips
- First Burn Matters: Allow the candle to burn until the wax melts evenly across the surface to prevent tunnelling.
- Ventilation: Burn in a well-ventilated room for the best fragrance experience.
- Reuse Containers: After the candle is finished, repurpose the container for décor or storage.
